        On 27 December, 2000, 1:58 PM, I saw Jan's comments made on
 Wed, 27 Dec 2000 08:32:24 -0500, and thought I'd add my $0.02 worth:

JR> Does this macro assume that if there is no handle, then it will
JR> take the AB First Name & return it as the %FromName so a name is
JR> always inserted, handle or no handle?

It will use the handle name first. If there's no handle name, it will
use the first name from the address book. If there's no first name in
the address book or no address book entry available, then the first name
of the from name in the message headers will be used.

JR> Whereas %ABofromHANDLE would return nothing if there is no handle
JR> present in the AB entry?

That's right, so using the recursed macros would be better. If not
everyone has a handle in your address book then you'd at least need to
use %ABofromHANDLE="OFROMFNAME" if you wish to have some form of useful
output all the time.
