I think it's the other way round - both programmes don't do it because
it is not wanted, needed or necessary.

Don't take that personally but - remember what I wrote about my
profession - I actually dislike "cool" features. Reminds me that one
of the owners of an agency I know thinks Flash is so cool, he actually
let whole web pages programme with it and CD-ROM games ...

BTW, HTML is not intended as a *formatting* language; let me think,
why don't we use Postscript ;-).
