Greetings Bat Fans,

Following recent discussions on TBUDL, we have decided to create a new
discussion list for users of The Bat!. The new list is called TBTECH
and it has been created to allow more technical discussions relating
to TB to be carried out away from the main TBUDL list.

The intention is to allow TBUDL to focus on being a "first port" for
new users, a place where fundamental issues of use and configuration
can be discussed freely.

It will also be a place where other general discussions relating to
everyday use of The Bat! can take place between users, as it always
has been.

The TBTECH list has been set up for the purpose of discussing TB
related issues that are of a more technical nature than can be catered
for in the TBUDL list. Such topics as Regular Expression, RFC content
and compliance, plug-in programming, Spell-checker semantics, 3rd
party software, ISP policy, Internet protocols and anything else that
would bore many a beginner into leaving the TBUDL!

This is the intent. The list now exists and is ready to accept new
members.

Anyone wishing to join the new list can do so by clicking on this
link: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and sending the resulting blank
email.
