Using The Bat! v1.53d on Windows NT 4.0 Build 1381 Service Pack 5 I'm trying to replace MS Outlook. TB more than replaces Outlook as a mail client. However, I can't find a reminder application that comes close to Outlook. FWIW, I've tried Sidekick 95, Lotus Organizer 2.1, and some shareware/freeware like Organizer 3000. None of these applications meet with two of my requirements:
1. Allow events to be set at any regular interval up to a year. For example, I have a ten-tape backup rotation. To set reminders for the month 1, month 2, and month 3 tapes, I need an interval of sixteen weeks. 2. The alarm must display even if the computer is started after the event has passed. For example, if the computer is switched off when a reminder to renew insurances is due, that reminder should display when the computer is started. Any suggestions?
