I think the Ticker is a great idea. I like to have visual notification of received email. What I'm wondering is -- is there a way to "close" this visual without clicking HIDE -- which will actually disable it.
In short, I see the ticker, don't want to read the emails at present, but want to dispose of the ticker until the next new email arrives.
