Well, at least part of the source of my confusion I'm having is what
you mean by the 'main window?' I usually read my mail in the preview
pane, occasionally in the browse message window when I want to narrow
something down to read shorter lines, and sometimes in the browse
ticker messages. I find that in all these windows the ctrl-right arrow
and ctrl- ] combos seem to work. To me, the preview window is the main
window, since it is part of the opening presentation. There, there are
not next and previous arrows. Even in the browse messages window, the
next and previous go the the next or last message, regardless of it
read or unread status.
