Hi Scott,

DSL Dialup? You mean DSL via your POTS connection.
If you connect to the DSL modem using a network card you should remember
that most (ALL?) ISP's will program your network cards MAC address into
the connection. This means that you can only connect with the registered
MAC address.

Usually you should not be able to use the Internet at all on the other
machine but they could just block email. Can you browse on the other
machine?

If not you will have to swap NIC's or buy a router and use that to
connect your PC's to.
