Bats-

I've got this one narrowed down now. I was having the same symptoms:
the first whitespace character acted as an end-of-text delimiter. I
don't have a default email handler set, so I had to go into TB's menus
(Options | Preferences | Applications) and check the box for allowing
TB to be the default mail handler...but it wasn't working.

Then...after launching IE (5.01 if you really have to know) I set it's
options (Tools | Internet Options | Programs | E-mail) to set TB to be
the mail handler. Bingo! Up popped the whole stream. Worked for
Netscape, too.

I'm not sure if this should be written up as a bug against The Bat!
for not completely setting everything that needs to be set for it to
be the default mail handler, and I certainly don't feel the
inclination to go waltzing through the registry and figure out what
changed, but at least I found a solution for the problem - set the
options in your web browser, then try it.
