OK, I accept the explanation, it *appears* with my installation that
the default account new message template text is applied (including
some macros).

I get the impression that I should get a blank message window but
that's not the case.

If it is a MAPI specific feature then presumably TBMAPI is responsible
for introducing some of the new message template text to the editor
window?
