Below the message list in the folder window is a space in which you
can see the content of the highlighted message. This is the preview
pane. You can size it using Windows technique to your preference. It
will show the headers in gray with the message below, including a
scroll bar if needed.

If instead, you double-click the highlighted message, it will appear
in a message window. Since I like to read all my messages (I have them
arranged in descending order in the View menu of the message window) I
put my cursor on the blue "previous" arrow in the toolbar and click it
to move up and read the next message.

The advantage in reading in the preview pane is that you have the full
message list above you all the time. The advantage, to me, in reading
the message in a message window is that I can read it in a full-screen
window.

I hope I have described this understandably. It's hard to put into
words! :)

I have forgotten how to go directly to the "feature request," or "wish
list." Someone put the address here recently, but I've also forgotten
what thread that was!

However, in the main The Bat! window you could click on Help. Then
highlight Feedback and click on "bug report". An e-mail composition
window will come up.

Then you could say that this is not a bug report but a feature
request. The developers read all e-mails and in my experience respond
to them.

Occasionally they do turn up here, and Stefan has been posting here
recently. But you can't count on their seeing any one individual post.

If you want the specific "feature request" address, you could post a
query on tbudl with that as a new subject line, and I am sure someone
will soon answer! :)

z> Thanks for your input!

My pleasure. :)
