That's not what I was saying... the OS lets you select the default
browser (not just IE) and lets you create accounts that have different
user preferences. If someone decides not to use those features why
should TB! implement them internally?

Okay, there are exceptions... for example, on my system Powermarks and
Notetab Pro. But you'd expect that with a bookmark utility and general
purpose editor that's used for coding HTML etc.
