Hi Kevin

Very much so! Your postings have been very helpful to me in reading.
One of the problems Ive been having is how best to integrate IMAP into
my every day useage since having moved from POP3. I like having
messages stored in the file structure used by TB for POP, however the
serverside storage and seamless usability from any machine is great.

At the moment I have a 100mb quota on IMAP and my POP3 message based
is currently 160mb which means I can't really transfer across so I
currently move all messages from my IMAP inbox across to my old POP3
account. However I did experiment with "uploading" my message base to
the IMAP server and got into all sorts of synchronisation and "ghost"
folder problems (see earlier postings).

Three things here:

1. A "conversion" facility to transfer a POP3 message base across to
an IMAP server.

2. Speed was a real issue when synchronising 20 or more folders.

3. There seems to be a "feeling" that people would like syncrhonisation
to be more "obviously" local storage.

Cheers

mike
