Use Latin-9 (ISO-8859-15) for the moment. It has the best coverage of
West European characters (Euro symbol ¤, French ½, and others). Some
old mailers might have problems with this, but with TB!, TBird, OL, etc.
this is no problem.
...until the day TB! will be able to encode in UTF-8
