The MID: needs to go inside the angle brackets or else The Bat! treats
the MID as an e-mail address.

Compare
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
to
<mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
and to
mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

The last two work as expected.
