Not to worry. I don't delete infected mail either. I usually check them first for the same reason you have. Not so much that the sender may have sent an infected attachment with their legitimate mail, but for the occasional false positive that may occur. I don't know if you recall, but there was a time when the TB! executable was being caught by a couple anti-virus agent as being a virus!!
