I assume you want to prevent copying by scanning. Unless done properly, I think it always can be copied but result may be lousy.... I have a cooking book which I tried to scan in and essentially it doesnt work UNLESS you first scan it to paper and then scan it again to digital picture. If you scan direct to digital picture it looks terrible...
