No, don't blame your inability to find the topic on the full moon. Blame it
on whoever wrote the help file or the help search engine. Searching on
superscript should've identified the topic. The only way I found it was
because I knew where to look in the application and that helped me find the
right word (offset) to search for.

Did I just end a sentence with a preposition? ... Is this better "...word
for which to search"?

Thank you so much!

I have to tell you that I feel a bit of a fool. I thought that I'd searched
the Adobe FrameMaker Help for "superscript", with a resulting hit of one
topic that had nothing to do with text options. But when I did it again just
now, up came the topic so kindly provided by Tom. Full moon out there
wreaking havoc on the Adobe Search feature? At any rate, I am very
appreciative that we can now fine tune our superscript characters.

The other neat thing is that changing the offset in the Text Options box
changes it in any variables that use the superscript character.

Best regards,

Carol

For more information, look in Frame help and look up offset in the
index.

Here's a link to the topic--this is assuming you have the same
