The connection may be rather tenuous, but every time I've had an opening in past 10 years or so, as I've reviewed resumes I've found myself wondering who's teaching people to read and write these days, then thought, if I'm thinking this while reviewing resumes from people applying for jobs as technical writers, how bad do resumes from people applying for non-writer jobs look?
