I've done that for 3.7 as well; "--enable-smb" now defaults to "yes".
It still prints the
configure: warning: The SMB printer may have exploitable buffer
overflows!!!
warning, and the help message still speaks of it as being possibly
buggy:
--enable and --with options recognized:
--without-gcc don't use gcc
--enable-smb enable possibly-buggy SMB printer [default=yes]
--disable-smb disable possibly-buggy SMB printer
--enable-ipv6 enable ipv6 (with ipv4) support
--disable-ipv6 disable ipv6 support
--without-crypto disable crypto support
Should we leave those in?
