I'd like to find out what the current literature says about applied sociology (possible including evaluation research and/or sociological practice) in order to teach undergrads a sort of introductory course in these areas.  I'd also like to get a sense of the major schools of thought and types of projects out there under these headings.

Any ideas on where to look?  I know about the Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology.  Books, websites, people, anything would be helpful to me at this early stage.

Thanks,
Libby Larsen
