Anyone out there read Juan Cole's Informed Comment blog (http://www.juancole.com/)? In this morning's installment, he points to this case as further evidence our President is spreading Mulim fundamentalism rather than democracy.
By the way, did anyone else think "Army of Darkness" when they saw the phrase "army of sociologists?" I'm thinking a multi-picture franchise in which a sociologist -- mostly likely played by Bruce Campbell -- goes back in time to fight evil ... er, something-or-others.
