Advice on how to deal with religious student(s). 

I changed the header to make sure that this was treated as a different thread.
My response to Tina below was sent earlier using the

Hi Tina,

The late Donna Darden did some work in this area that you could look up.  She had students who would stand up and witness in class.
Perhaps some on the list could help.

Has she stated it is her intent to convert you?  If so this could present a problem that could recommend assignment to another class. Based
on the fact that you are at a state facility which should have some separation from church

I expect that there is more than religion going on.  .  I would answer her questions with assignments.... that emphasize the difference between science and belief. 
Beliefs are not what soc is about.

BTW I have a relative who goes to Liberty U.   They are well trained to promote the word.... she is trying to save you.
