Maybe that specific way of seeing things (am I in review debt?) could be supported by software. I.e. a prominent indicator of whether or not you've pushed more changesets than you've reviewed.
In the meanwhile interested people can use http://koti.kapsi.fi/~federico/crstats/extensions.txt and http://koti.kapsi.fi/~federico/crstats/core.txt . The visual indicator could be a gerrit or phabricator plugin I suppose (as diffusion has most repos now).
