We are experiencing problems with the 24 Hour PhoneBook method of reserving Lending Library materials. The problem was unable to be fixed this afternoon. We will continue to address the problem on Monday morning. While I cannot give you an estimated time of solving the problem, I will let you know when, and if, the problem is resolved. You need to be aware that Tek Data, our circulation system vendor, will be limiting support of the 24 Hour PhoneBook system and, in fact, will be discontinuing support of this method. They are placing their monetary and personnel resources into Web access of Lending Library materials, not into maintaining a system that relies on a paper catalog that no longer exists. There is an article in the upcoming November issues of Take 5 that will also address this topic. Let me know if you have questions.
