Greetings: E-rate funding commitments for Year 2002 (formerly known as Year 5) for Wave 3 are now on the SLD web site. Go to http://www.sl.universalservice.org/funding/ and click on Iowa for Wave 3.
Reminder: You MUST file form 486 before SDL will start funds flowing!!! Form 486 MUST be filed within 120 days after services begin OR 120 days after you receive a funding commitment decision letter (whichever is later). SLD claims that they will have the form 486 available online by June 1, if you wish to wait to use the online form. Additional reminder: If you receive a funding denial and believe you have grounds for an appeal, I urge you to file an appeal immediately. There is a deadline for filing appeals! Questions?
