Now that netbsd-6 has been branched, I think it's time to remove COMPAT_386BSD_MBRPART. This entails both the kernel code and some code in disklabel(8) and sysinst. The kernel code has been disabled by default for years; the disklabel(8) code was overlooked at the time and disabled about a year ago (in both current and -5) after several reports of trashed FreeBSD partitions were traced to it.
Does anyone object? It's been a good long time since the partition ID changed. -- David A. Holland dholl...@netbsd.org
