| Why don't you just use /etc/sysctl.conf? I think that would be a little late, by the time anything in userland gets a chance to do anything at all (including just starting /sbin/init) ASLR has already happened. I think that having a boot time option to make it all go away is a very good idea. I have not yet looked at the patch though. kre
