I hadn't. I found a work machine, on which I found the research.exoticsilicon.com/series/pinephone_openbsd/ pages, which I have now read. I don't see anything there to make me think my plan will be a nonstarter. Almost everything there is specific to either the hardware or the kernel in question, neither of which I will be using.
