well, am gonna buy a new PC.. but I am in a confusion what to buy..
I wanna it to be very fast for developing and last the heavy programs I use
I can't choose between the
Pentium Four or AMD  and

buy AMD  64 bit , its cheap and faster than p 4

3.6GH with 2M cach or a dual core processor

go for  dual core  it have definetely advatage over single core for almost similar prise

..
and what's the best motherboard which will make the best use of the selected processor speed

go  for  asus ...  the  best  mother board  brand

and if you still got money left go for MORE RAM ... because ultimately ram have the most
effect on performance ... atleast 512 ram - go for 400 mhz ( make sure it is  400 mhz because
most of the time u will get 266 ... check for graphics card ( external are more powerful but reauire  more money) ... internal graphics card are good on asus mb -> check weather it got on board memory or shared memory....

rest of the component didnt have any effect buy till money permit .. :D

im telling u best combination -> i have exactly same configuration
and yes it is faster :D

could you help me..
any suggestion, even if a book to read. will be highly appreciated..
Best Regards
