Well, it's 880ms right now. I have a fast ADSL connection (direct, not
firewalled or NATted, can receive incoming connections and UDP packets, IP
address pretty stable but I use a dynamic DNS in my noderef, no transfer
limit, can easily pull 700+ kBps from servers in my country),
and "ping www.google.com" gives:

rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 32.681/32.840/33.112/0.193 ms
I use Linux's hibernation feature, so Freenet gets paused for the night
and resumes at morning. Could that have anything to do with it ?
