Actually, it is impossible to solve this problem. You see, if someone
arrests or kidnaps Ian, and beats the private key out of them, there is
no way for Ian to give out a warning from the prison. As far as the
network is concerned, whoever holds Ians key is Ian, and the real Ian has
no way of telling anyone otherwise, since he is imprisoned and/or dead.
Don't forget that Freenets goals of opposing censorship directly
contradict the interests of every dictatorship on Earth - and, to a lesser
extent, every other government too, since they all can benefit from
keeping things from their citizens or someone else - and dictators tend to
be very nasty people.

So no, this is not a minor issue; it is a show-stopper.

Not a good idea for the reasons told above. Might work for early alpha,
but there's always the danger that some code related to this could remain
even in the stable version.
