I haven't seen that *specifically* but it's highly reminiscent of some problems I've seen before - So - a few questions for you. What kind of HBA are you using? When we saw a similar problem, we were using the Broadcom ethernet, and after trying everything in the world, we added an Intel ethernet card and started using it instead, which made the problem go away. But it sounds like you've already been down this path. Obviously, I hope you've applied all the firmware updates. And talk to Dell to see if they have any as-yet unreleased updates they want to give you. And once, I think they advised going back to a previous rev. I bet you already know, you have two choices: You can either install VMWare from the iso you downloaded from vmware, or you can use the Dell Customized version that's available from dell. You should use the Dell Customized one. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
