I haven't worked with the 6140, but my experience with the sun
storagetek line has been so bad, that I'd avoid it.

I've had two basic problems.

First, sun is completely clueless about which of their product features
their operating systems actually support. This is just sad.

Second, I found the software that the storagetek workgroup disk
*requires* to be awful. This being CAM. It doesn't feel very solarisy,
doesn't work with zones, doesn't install well, requires a web ui, is
kinda crashy, is slow. And when they say "has a command line" they mean
that it has a command line that talks to the web ui that must be running
somewhere.

And sun support seems pretty unable to cope with the errors mine spits
out.

Not to mention that the whole storagetek line feels very legacy with
sun's push to zfs.
