Hi List, Part of my job involves me managing the infrastructure some PCB EDA tools run on. Since many of our users seem to be under the impression this tool works better in windows-space than linux, I am tasked with setting up a development deployment of the tool in a windows space.
Windows 2008R2 has some pretty cool facilities for application delivery over Remote Desktop Protocol. I have that working, but now it's to the point where I need to figure out how many VMs i'm going to have to set up and what kind of host hardware I'm going to need to get. Basically people are going to connect to a round robin pool of virtual machines and get this application displayed back to their desktop. How would you go about figuring out how to size the pool of VMs? Are there any good tools that I can use for this or is it just one of those "Try it out" type things? Thanks! - Pat _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list Tech@lopsa.org http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
