I don't think we have any interface that isn't named after its driver.
So I'd suggest to rename both the interface and driver together, to "umb".
And keep all the macros which refer to MBIM things as MBIM_ .

Changing the filename in CVS later on is a bit of a pain, so let's
settle this before import.
