Well, I am sorry to perhaps hijack the thread, but it seems to me, it
is just your hardware. I am using urndis(4) interface occasionally,
with my cellphone, and it "just works".
so, if your hardware needs special treatment - may be it is better to
make a special case under if(){} branch?
