FYI, there is prior art. ElectroBSD's sysctl inherited an -f option from FreeBSD: | -f filename | Specify a file which contains a pair of name and value in each | line. sysctl reads and processes the specified file first and | then processes the name and value pairs in the command line | argument. <https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=sysctl&sektion=8&n=1> Fabian
