We have this following requirement with one of our direct client:
Position: Sr. SAP ABAP Architects
Location: San Jose,
Rate: Open
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6 months
*DESCRIPTION:*
· Serve as a technical and SAP development expert in regards to
ABAP, iDocs, BAPIs, RFCs for SAP Finance and Supply Chain modules.
· Assist with technical design of SAP, legacy applications /
programs / interfaces and SAP XI/PI.
· Provide 3rd level support for SAP XI/PI interfaces.
· Assist with reviewing custom code, analyzing the impact of the
proposed technical solutions.
· Forecast and analyze system / integration defects and production
requests / issues.
· Clearly communicate technology issues, plans and solutions from
both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and
cons for recommended solutions.
· This position is responsible for reviewing and validating unit
test plans and test scenarios for unit testing and participates in all
aspects of SDLC.
· The person is also required to have excellent communication skills
as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities and effectively work
within a team environment.

*REQUIREMENTS:*
· A minimum of 7 years experience designing, developing, testing and
deploying application solutions.
· A minimum of 5 years experience designing, developing, testing and
deploying application solutions within SAP.
· A minimum of 2 SAP implementation or upgrade experiences;
Experience in a SAP production support role.
· Experience with technical aspects of SAP FI/CO and SD modulus.
· Deep experience with ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs in SAP R/3 v4.7 or
higher
· A minimum of one end-to-end SAP PI 7.x implementation experience,
excellent development experience using all mapping techniques (Message,
Java, XSLT and ABAP), Adapters (RFC, SOAP, XI, IDOC) and Proxies (ABAP and
Java)
· Experience with the QA test automation tools such as Mercury
QC/QTP or similar.

*Prefer the following:*
· Experience with WebMethods (Integration Server and Developer)
· Experience in web-based software development using J2EE
technologies; Java, Web services, XML, SAP XI/PI.
