Provide data and database development, maintenance, and production support. Participate in IT and Business project to define system requirements. Experience Level: 3-6 Years. Skill Set: Business analysis. Business process modeling - enterprise to department level. Ability to interpret Entity Relationship Diagrams. *Interviews will be phone.* Additional Information: Required Technical skills: - Extensive data warehousing/business intelligence development and architecture experience (full life cycle) - Extensive experience deploying and supporting large, complex data warehouse/business intelligence solutions (full life cycle) - Extensive experience designing relational (conceptual, logical, physical), star schema and dimensional data models for data warehouses and business intelligence environments. - Extensive experience integrating disparate systems into conformed dimensions *- Strong hands-on ERwin data modeling tool experience. Other tools are a plus, but ERwin experience is required. - Strong experience working with a range of RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata, DB2, etc.) - Strong experience with SQL query and RDBMS tuning - Strong experience working with UNIX (AIX, etc)* - Good understanding of data integration tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, etc.) - Good understanding of metadata repository tools - Good understanding of reporting tools (Business Objects, SAS, Cognos, etc.) Other skills: - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work closely with technical teams and business users of the data warehouse/business intelligence environments - Ability to conduct sessions with business users to identify data sources, key facts and dimensions, that support the business requirements - Establish and follow data modeling, data integration, data access standards and best practices - Ability to work in a complex and changing environment.
