Experience with PP/DS in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred. -A minimum of three full Life Cycle Implementations in APO- PP/DS. -Experience in business process requirements elicitation and documentation, business process design (blue printing), gap analysis, functional specification creation and system prototype presentation. -Demonstrated knowledge of Master Data requirements including product data structures and resources. *Description:* The Business Process Architect applies expertise in the SAP APO Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling module to assist Goodyear in designing a new system to replace two legacy applications that are used to evaluate capacity of our manufacturing facilities. *Candidates should possess expert knowledge in these standard SAP business processes:* ·Supply Chain Strategies ·Sales and Operations Planning ·Rough Cut Capacity Planning ·Long term and Midterm Planning ·Order Execution and Distribution Planning ·Short Term Scheduling ·Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment *The contractor would be responsible for these deliverables:* ·Performing a gap analysis of current system requirements versus the base functionality of PP/DS. The functional requirements for both existing systems have been documented. The contractor will work with the Goodyear project team to identify those requirements that (a) can be met with base functionality of PP/DS – configuration only, (b) can be met with slight modifications of the requirements to fit base PP/DS functionality, and (c) can only be met by custom coding within SAP and/or the PP/DS module. ·Conduct Blueprint Workshops for the purpose of educating Goodyear project team, analyzing business requirements, and facilitation of decision-making. ·Provide a prototype for configuring PP/DS to enable capacity evaluations and provide plant-specific and cross-plant reporting per the project requirements. These evaluations will include both machine and labor considerations in support of a lean manufacturing environment. ·Provide a prototype for configuring PP/DS to enable “what if” scenarios.
