The culprit appears to be your use of cookies. On the first request a cookie is set. If it is present on the second request all content appears. If I block my cookies I can consistently duplicate the problem.
Try taking out all your cookie-related code and try again. However - I found something strange last night, each page loads a header and footer, I was looking at these files in vi to check for any dos linefeeds etc & they both came up with incomplete last line errors. I fixed this & the site was working fine, however I then had to restart apache for something else & the error reappeared. Neither file shows a problem in vi & I touched all files to refresh the date.
