I am interested about building an OCR tool for my native language
which is Bangla (Bengali). Tesser-act seems to be a good OCR tool and
I also like the fact that this is open sourced under Apache license.
In recent times, I have mostly worked with C# and Java and little bit
of Python. But I can code in C++. BTW, I have been moderating the
posts on this forum for some time. I came to know about this project
when I was working on a school project. I haven't had much chance of
looking into the code base. In any case, I would be able to spend some
time on it during the summer.

Regards,
Tamal.
