Yeah, I read some of that thread though didn't follow the exact details. In any case, the only A::T related setting in my env is APACHE_TEST_COLOR.
Please show us the verbose trace:
t/TEST -trace=debug
including the part where you completed the interactive questions, and it brought you back to interactive config again.
