I have added os16 on the XO-1 to:

(ASLOxo drag-drop testing from 2nd USB using my G1G1 XO-1)

Some quick observation on Sugar mode in OS16

1. Software Update is missing from the Control Panel.

2. You have to horizontally scroll in the Control Panel. There is adequate
space in the control panel to have another line of icons so scrolling would not
be necessary. ( This has been a problem for a few releases ).

3. Ruler Activity does not display correctly. Position of some items is
incorrect and the scaling is incorrect for the screen size. It should display
the ruler contents with the correct sizing.

4. First time I used Record (v83) it abnormally exited. I took a photo, looked
at it, took a video, looked at it and tried to take a 2nd video. The record
log file had a CRITICAL error in it. Below is contents of the
org.laptop.RecordActivity-1.log file.

The instructions page says this is Sugar 0.88. I assume this is correct?

No, looking at the two XO-1's I installed Sugar is listed as 0.84.16,
firmware Q2E44.

"Announcing a new Fedora for the XO-1 release

Today I am releasing OS16 for the XO-1. You can get it here [1].
Installations instructions are here [2].

This build brings us more inline with the work being done for the XO-1.5, as
well it includes several changes incorporated from the Paraguay builds.

I want to thank Bernie Innocenti for his work done on the Paraguay build and
his efforts to stabilize the system as we work towards an official release.
Thanks to the XO-1.5 team as well for all their work.

Yes it is still 0.84. Bernie is testing 0.88 builds in Paraguay and I
hope to move to 0.88 soon.

The wiki includes info on 0.88 to help me track the issues.
