A Testing SWG meeting was held on Thursday, February 14th. The minutes
from that meeting are below:
Technical Test Scenarios:
The Dental scenarios are still under development. Sue Ryder stated
that the following pages are still to be assigned: 119-130, 187-266,
287-313. She is looking for volunteers to help.
The Institutional scenarios are also still under development. Mark
Charles is working on pages 145-172, Susan Fritz is working 280-320, Paul
Root has pages 342-364, and Barb Gingrich has pages 365-439. That leaves
pages 440-504 to still be assigned.
Large sections of the scenarios will be sent to Kepa Zubeldia by the
end of next week (2/22). John Lilleston will email Kepa for an approximate
date that these scenarios will be available on the Claredi web page. John
will also ask Kepa about his suggestions for the problem we are
encountering with code sets not listed in the implementation guide.
Business Test Scenarios:
The group was asking for a status of getting the Institutional and
Professional COB business scenarios on the Claredi web page. Kepa was not
on the call today so John will also address this question in the email to
Kepa.
Testing Webcast:
The testing webcast is scheduled for February 28th at 2 p.m. Please
register for this event as soon as possible if you are interested. Kepa
Zubeldia, Marsha Solomon, Mark McLaughlin, Ed Hafner, and John Lilleston
will be presenting.
March Forum:
The group is busy trying to put together our presentation for the
March forum. Sue Ryder will present our approach and process that we used
to develop the technical and business scenarios, John Lilleston will use
the downloaded data and run through translator maps and show errors, etc.
and Cynthia Korman will discuss business to business testing and the
validation that needs to be done after certification is received. Marsha
Solomon was also interested in presenting but she was not on the call.
John Lilleston will check with her to see if she is still interested and
what her topic will be. All presenters will meet Thursday, February 21st
at 2:00 p.m. eastern time. The call in number will be published later.
Miscellaneous:
Sue Ryder asked for a status on the write-up of EDIFIX. This is
another testing/compliance tool that may be added to the Testing and
Certification paper appendix. The write-up should be available by next
meeting.
