yes, the first glyph in a word determines the language, left- and right hyphenmin and uc hyphenation

min word length, pre- and post hyphenchar are is a language property and not in the glyph

For instance if I have

left=right=2

œdipus oedipus

and I want

œ-di-pus oe-di-pus

should I just change the left field of the first (œ) node to 1?
