A hearty welcome to David Wooten. But, David, please ignore the rest of this
paragraph.  Bernhard, don't you place new fonts that you install yourself
under some sort of local directory such as "localtexmf", to avoid
overwriting them upon any reinstallation or installation of a newer TeX? Not
that TeX's going anywhere, I suppose, being so stable and all. Maybe this is
more of a thing to do for LaTeX users...
