typing locate yields three different texmf.cnf files (SuSE 6.1)
/etc/texmf/texmf.cnf
/usr/share/texmf/teTeX/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf
/var/lib/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf
Does anyone know which one is the one TeTeX actually uses?
