Hi

The recent question about different number of voices reminded me of an old
problem I have. When making large scores with several pieces/movements
with different number of instruments I usually have one handcoded tex file
which include all the different tex files generated by M-Tx and PMX. This
works fine with instrumental pieces and vocal pieces where the lyrics
belong to the same instrument in all movements, but when the number of
vocal staffs change between movements, the placement of the lyrics goes
wild.

By the look of the result I would guess that if the first movement
has lyrics only in the third stave, then lyrics is placed on every third
stave in the following movement regardless of the actual number of
instruments.

For instrumental pieces I have to set \sysno=0\startbarno=1 between every
movement and I guess that there is some kind of reinitialization that has
to be done for musixlyr also, but my knowledge in TeX is to low to
understand the musixlyr source. Does anybody know how to reset the right
counter in musixlyr before including the next piece?

(I could try to make a short example if necessary, but tonight I can't)
