Hello Bob, musixlth is neither a standard nor well-known extension of MusiXTeX. This was just my experimental private macro at first in 2002. I published it at my private site, because J|rgen Fleck posted a message titled `[TeX-music] Thicker staff lines' to the list on April 4, 2004.
After that, Simon Dreher and some people requested me to send the file; thus the file has been updated several times. I myself think that musixlth is not so worth being registered to WIMA or CTAN; I think it's enough to be on my private site, because: * I wrote musixlth not so carefully. * Appearance of line thickness is dependent on the DPI and the material of the ink/toner of printer hardwares. Just optimizing the MusiXTeX's definition for both mainstreams of LASER's 600dpi and inkjet's 720dpi will be the best solution. Of course, I would like to respect your judgment whether it will be registered or not.
